Palamatic has an extensive range of additional Sack Tip systems, all these machines are designed to ensure that the product being discharged does not come in contact with the sack outer layer in the discharge process, making them ideal for most Food and Pharmaceutical applications. The PAL M-ST is a Manual Sack Tip unit incorporating a screw compactor unit to handle the emptied sack and optional dust extraction system.

PAL F-AST Fully Automatic Sack Tip both controls and contains dust that is generated when opening sacks of raw materials and ingredients at infeed stations. This latest addition to Palamatic’s powder handling solutions also eliminates the risk to the operator by slitting the sack automatically. Ideal for retro-fitting to existing infeed stations, or can be designed into new expansion facilities. This product suits all food, pharmaceutical and chemical industry powders.
The Manual Option – PAL-FAST-MF is designed so that the operator can load the PAL-FAST -MF using a Palamatic Vacuum Tube Lifter to lift the sacks. This also incorporates a standard Atex specification of up to Zone 21 internally and Zone 22 externally.

ROTASLIT 3600
Palamatic’s Rotaslit machine has become a standard over the past 20 years for medium to high throughput sack opening installations worldwide. Reliable, efficient, compact, the Rotaslit range can be produced to an Atex standard and supplied in 304/316 stainless steel as well as other finishes. With throughput of sacks from 5-15 per minute this range is highly versatile.
The machine is designed around a unique combination of a screw auger and tumble-drum principle that ensures sacks are fully emptied. The Rotaslit is ideal where space is of a premium as the high emptying efficiency is achieved in a very compact body, which also incorporates the minimum of product hang-up points ensuring easy clean-down between batches via the interlocked access doors. The Rotaslit can be manually fed via a short-length gravity roller conveyor or via an appropriate belt conveyor system. The Rotaslit-Standard version utilises a single or double-shaft cutting system ensuring a clean slitting of the sack irrespective of sack size, shape or orientation. The slit sack and product being fed into the screw auger and tumble-drum section for discharge of product.
